Penny Dimos

Penny Dimos is an Interior Designer and Visual Artist. In her work, each discipline informs the other resulting in a visually succinct aesthetic creating deceptively simple, yet conceptually rich, art objects and interiors. Her work is a vehicle for both creative expression and inventive problem solving.

Dimos integrates site-specific art pieces—offering moments of respite and contemplation—within interiors which are modern, functional, original. The customized designs are spaces of refuge and inspiration reflecting her clients’ requirements, wishes and evolving lifestyles.

Dimos holds a BA in Interior Design (Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada), followed by studies in Experimental Art (Ontario College of Art and Design, Toronto, Canada).

Dimos’ Interior Design projects are found in Canada, the US and published in several design periodicals and websites. Her artwork has been exhibited internationally, in private and public collections including the permanent collection of the Yale University Art Gallery (The Allan Chasanoff Bookwork Collection).
